History

Hope Homes Scotland was established in 1990 by three members of the Hope family - Anne, Scott and Ian. They set out to build a strong family business; to be a housebuilder that people trust and that tradesmen are proud to work for.

Over the past 30-odd years they have worked hard to achieve that goal, building well over 1,000 new homes and commercial properties in Scotland. With a reliable, highly-skilled workforce, a Hope home has become sought after, with many families purchasing from the company several times over.

Hope Homes were instrumental in delivering the first phase of homes and business premises at Knockroon, a pioneering sustainable development on Dumfries House Estate, in conjunction with The Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation.

We were also responsible for designing and building many other projects within Dumfries House Estate.

The company’s most recent developments include 69 contemporary style homes at Botanics, Crofthead Road, Kilmaurs and 121 traditional homes at Chapelton, Ardrossan Road, Seamill, both in Ayrshire, South west Scotland.

Presently, the group’s subcontracting division, Hope South West Ltd, are responsible for on site works at Kilmarnock Road, Dundonald, where the Wee House Company are delivering 61 affordable homes for Irvine Housing Association, part of the Riverside Group.
